Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Grid Puzzles at grid-puzzles.com (the “Service”), operated by Infinite Loop Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds

The Service offers a free plan and a paid Subscription. The free plan includes puzzle access with advertising. The Subscription currently costs $1 per month and includes ad-free play and the ability to save and resume puzzle progress. Features and current pricing are displayed before purchase.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew each month until cancelled. By starting a Subscription, you authorize Infinite Loop Games and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your selected payment method the recurring monthly price and applicable taxes, if any.

You can cancel at any time through your account's Subscription page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain Subscription features until then, and there is no cancellation fee. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your next renewal date.

Payments are nonrefundable, including for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by law or where we charged you in error. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact [email protected] promptly with the email address on your account and the details of the charge. If we change Subscription pricing or materially reduce Subscription features, we will provide notice as required by applicable law before the change takes effect.

Payments are processed by Stripe and may also be subject to Stripe's terms and policies. We do not store full payment-card numbers.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment of the puzzles. You may not:

• break the law or infringe another person's rights;
• interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service except as permitted by robots.txt or our written permission;
• copy, republish, distribute, sell, or create a competing puzzle service from substantial portions of the Service or its content; or
• use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful or deceptive material.

Our content and intellectual property

The Service, including its puzzles, clues, explanations, artwork, branding, software, and design, is owned by Infinite Loop Games or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service. They do not transfer ownership of any content or intellectual-property rights to you.

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, contact [email protected] with enough information for us to identify the material and your claim.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including puzzles, features, or plans. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created a security risk, or used the Service unlawfully. Where practical, we will provide notice.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infinite Loop Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations, so these terms apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law and changes to these Terms

Michigan law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise. These Terms do not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required by law. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
